Message from Yura, exchange student from Ukraine 2006-2007

Dear Rio Salado Rotary Club!

 

My year has passed. A great year with wounderful memories which will be in my mind and heart for ever.One day i was sitting and thinking: I am only 16 but how much i will be able to tell my children. Therefore I want to say THANK YOU to each and all of you. Thank you for hosting me, thank you for being there with me and for supporting me during this amazing year. I don't know is there anything that I can do, so it will be equal to all of that you have done for me.....Without your help I would never experience what I have experience, I would never do anything, like i've done here with your help. Thank you again and again....YOu are doing excellent job.Because USA have opened my eyes and showed me how does real independent, DEMOCRATIC, contry look like.....I have seen and tried so many thing that I couldn't even think about back home, and all of that has happened with your help, with a little part of your heart...... I want to say thank you from my self, from kids who you have hosted already and for kids who are still to be hosted, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR GIVING ME A CHANCE TO COME TO USA AND EXPERIENCE YOU COUNTRY, COLTURE, WAY OF LIFE.
